Some exciting news!

First of all, I want to say thank you to all those who have been patiently waiting my newsletters/blogs and have been following along in my journey. Especially thank you to all who have been supporting me in praying and in finances.
I could not have been a part of the incredible things God has been doing in Europe if it wasn't for the support of people like you.
Since being in Germany
I felt the lord give me the strategy of visiting three different YWAM (Youth with a Mission) bases across Germany for two weeks each.
-Nuremberg, Germany (read last update for more on this)
-Berlin, Germany
-Herrnhut, Germany
During these two weeks I especially have been glad to get a closer insight as to what each base does day to day, and how each of the communities are, and see what type of ministries each base has going on.
Berlin
My time in Berlin was so wonderful and very refreshing.
I was able to stay at the Ywam base in the city and was set up with my very own little apartment style bedroom.
The first time I’ve had my own personal space since leaving my own apartment back in November and following after Gods call into missions.
I was also so incredibly blessed to be brought into a community of strong believers by just coming to Berlin only knowing one friend. He ended up connecting me with some amazing new friends. Some of them with YWAM and some not at all, and I loved to meet and see the dynamics of Christ followers in Berlin.
I even got to be a part of an open house style worship night. It was something so powerful to be a part of to see so many young people in Berlin come together to worship from attending all different kinds of ministries and churches throughout the city.
I loved seeing another side to what God was doing in Berlin and to see how well God really guided me into my time there of making really strong lasting friendships.
While staying at the YWAM base the same time there was visiting a team from California.
I got to hang out with them several times and even sit in on a class on how to evangelize / reach Muslims throughout Berlin.
I even got to go with them one of the days and do some evangelism in the park. I loved it so much. Berlin has so many different people groups and it was fun getting to talk with many of them about Jesus.
Herrnhut

Coming to Herrnhut was eye opening and in some ways emotional for me.
Arriving to this little German village in the middle of nowhere after living in Paris and staying in cities for so long. I was almost shocked with how quiet and dark it gets at night here.
Driving through the town and having flash backs because its literally exactly the same as how it was when I left almost five years ago. The way that people brought me in and welcomed me back, brought an immediate sense of familiarity that felt like I had never left.
Seeing the castle, the place where I lived for three months during my first DTS (discipleship training school) several years ago..brought tears to my eyes. I couldn’t believe God had truly brought me back to this place with Him again.
It was almost unreal to be back the first day. I remember thinking back on when I was here last and the memories I made here. Back in Texas I would always remember these times as good ones but something that was a closed chapter in my life. I never truly thought or believed I would come back to Herrnhut. But God opened the door and provided a way to bring me back where He wanted me.
The first week I spent lots of time prayer and talking to God.
Asking for His guidance in where I should stay to serve on staff after visiting all three locations (Nuremberg, Berlin, Herrnhut) I really started to understand more of the desire God has for me in calling me to minister in Germany.
I went and visited the prayer tower and heard God speak to me saying “stay in this place of refuge with me”.
Some History of Herrnhut
The history of Herrnhut is a powerful one. Back in the 17th century this land was owned by a German Count name Zinzendorf who loved and followed God deeply.
He heard about (the Moravian's) Christians who were being persecuted for their faith in Bavaria. The count offered up his land for these essentially refugee's to come and live on.
The Moravian's then constructed what became the town of "Herrnhut" meaning "the Lords watchful care". They continued to grow deeper in their faith in this town and even started 100 years of non-stop intercessory prayer. Because they had given up everything in their lives to follow God, it sparked what would become one of the greatest movements in missions.
The Moravians were some of the first missionaries to be sent out into different nations to share the gospel, even when there were only 300 inhabitants in Herrnhut. Within 30 years, the church sent hundreds of Christian missionaries to many parts of the world, including the Caribbean, North and South America.
Many young believers stepped forth leaving Herrnhut and traveling to faraway places to share about God to people that had never heard of him before. Some of them losing their lives along the way.
During the rest of my time in Herrnhut I was able to help out the YWAM base in getting ready to host around 100 extra people for the "Firestarters gathering" 2018!
What is Firestarters..?
Firestarters is a movement that partners with the revival spreading throughout Europe.
We connect with people who are on fire for God in their city and sphere of society. We come alongside revivalists, to equip and serve them. We unite, fuel and multiply the movement.
People from all over Germany and surrounding countries come together in Herrnhut for four days of worship and intercession, input, and community. We learn together in Biblical truths to transform spheres of society, and strategize together for ways to actively invite the Kingdom of God to shift the culture of our workplaces and universities.

During the weekend gathering I got to connect with people from all over Europe who were on fire for God and we got to learn together on the topic of discipleship within our own cities. God has really given me a heart to see revival happen throughout Germany and Europe. It was really powerful to be a part of and so encouraging to see so many young people with this heart for God in their cities in Germany. The worship was an incredible time even for myself and it really started to confirm things in me that God has indeed been calling me towards in coming to Germany long term. I felt God speaking to me through this verse during the weekend especially.
Isaiah 51:4
"Listen to me, my people; hear me, my nation: Instruction will go out from me; my justice will become a light to the nations."
And now for the big news!
I officially have joined on staff with YWAM Herrnhut and am going to be partnering with Firestarters doing media ministry.
I'm so excited for what this next fall/winter season brings for me. I will be joining the Firestarters team going to out to different cities throughout Europe.
We do what's similar to the gathering throughout Europe but take it on tour to see revival spread.
I'm so encouraged to know that this ministry has been really growing and that the team has personally been praying towards growing the media department of the ministry. I've felt so welcomed into the family at YWAM Herrnhut and I can't wait to see all that God is going to be doing in my time here.
Fundraising

My heart is to see people on fire with the love of God and my mission is to share that love of who God and Jesus is to others.
Bringing the news of the gospel to people who have yet to hear the name of Jesus or have yet to understand the gospel and true salvation.
I have left my job, my family and my own nation because I know that Jesus calls us to be disciples of all nations. In doing this I am living day to day trusting God for each need, and I have seen God provide in incredible ways over this year already.
I'm seeking the need of either 2-3 monthly commitments financially for one year.
As my fees here would be around 400 euros. This includes my rent and all my food and utilities for each month.

Prayer requests
-Praying to be able to move into a shared apartment with other staff girls, to have more of a place to call home.
-For this upcoming season of transition.
This November I have to be out of the European Union for 90 days (three months) in order to reapply for another German visa. I will most likely be returning back home to Texas. Pray that God would speak about what to be doing during this time back in America.
-Pray for the fall Firestarters tour. The team and myself will be traveling in two groups throughout Germany. Pray that God would release more vision and strategy among us.
