Living in East Germany
I finally have a home! Thank you everyone who supported me through prayers and finances to see breakthrough in this area.
After living out of a suitcase for over a year a and half doing missions. I have been so incredibly thankful to finally have a place to call my own.
Myself and two other new girls at the YWAM base were blown away at the Lords faithfulness in providing this apartment for us.
Something that God was speaking to me about in this process of finding an apartment was "don't compromise" for me that was in wanting an apartment that had a kitchen already built in. (in Germany people take their whole kitchen, cabinets, appliances and all. With them when they move)
We went to look at this apartment for the first time thinking it was going to be pretty old because the listing had said they were also renting it with furniture.
Little did we know..When we walked in each of us were blown away at just how perfect and beautiful this gem of an apartment is. We were also surprise to find that they were willing to leave the kitchen for us if we wanted to buy it off of them. The apartment was recently renovated and hardly lived in before.
The whole move in process went so smoothly and we are each getting adjusted to small town village life in east Germany.
My new roommates are both from different countries one is from Paraguay (south america) and the other is from Poland.
I'm so thankful to get to know these girls more as time goes by these next two years. It's been so fun learning from these different cultures already. They are both so sweet and we are all learning to trust the Lord to provide for each of our needs in the apartment.
It's a slow process filling a new apartment with things but I love seeing how God is taking care of us and fulfilling more than we could even think of. I honestly am so thankful and at a loss for words when I think about how God has really blessed us and placed us in such an incredible apartment and community.
Bible Core Course
Wow I can't believe I start another school with YWAM this coming week. The time already being here has been going by so fast, and as of tomorrow I have only been back in Herrnhut one month.
I am so thankful to be a student again soon and to spend this next 3 months digging deep and learning about the bible.
Something the Lord has been speaking to me about during this season, is "transformation" I am expectant and excited for what the Lord is wanting to release to me during this time.
I have already met some of the other students who are coming to Herrnhut to attend the school and I can't wait to be on this journey together with them.
We will all be reading through the whole bible in 3 months and learn more in depth on 12 books of the bible. As well as learning methods on studying the bible.
We will have speakers coming to teach us on different books and even times of us students learning to teach what we know to the class room.
I am very excited for this season but also trusting the Lord that he will provide the finances.
I know this next season will be pretty busy for me and I am not sure how it will look week to week. But I will try and keep everyone updated on what's happening here and the revelations that the Lord will be giving me I cant wait to share with you. :)
Prayer Requests
-We are still trusting for some bigger financial needs in the apartment.
Some would be a washing machine, a desk for studying and some bed frames.
Prayers for breakthrough in these areas would be incredible.
-Prayers for my time during BCC (Bible Core Corse)
That the Lord would continually be growing me deeper in my faith and understanding of him. That His word would be hidden in my heart and not just my head. Also prayers for breakthrough with finances for this school.
-Prayers that I will be able to find a steady rhythm of life.
There has been lots of flexible changes and moving around this last year with the day to day always looking different. Prayers that I will be able to find a steady flow of life here in this community. Finally feeling more invested into Herrnhut and what God is doing here in Europe, But wanting to make sure that I'm using my time to the best of my abilities.
Again thank you to all who are following along and supporting me through prayers and encouragements. I couldn't not have done it without you being a part of this journey. I can't tell you how much it means to have each of you behind me as I walk out this life style God has called me to of missions in Germany.
