Hey friends, just wanted to fill you in on some of the things I've been up to lately.
February has been a very full month and I have spent it all over the place visiting with as many as I could before flying back to Germany and jumping into the next few years of full time missions.
The Lord has been reconnecting me with SO many this last month that I don't even know where to begin. I'm blown away by how God is at work in my life once again and how he's really brought some amazing friendships back into my life.
The beginning of the month I traveled out to Oregon to visit with some friends that I haven't seen in probably about 4 years. (Josh and Veronica)
The last time I was out there visiting them I was in their wedding, they now have two beautiful kids that I got to meet for the first time.
I was visiting for a week and we got to do some fun stuff exploring around Portland and driving up to Mt. hood to see the snowy mountains.
I also was able to meet up with another friend of mine from film school. (Lauren) I loved getting to hear all that she's doing with the film industry in Oregon.
I feel like so much time has passed in-between seeing each other, but I'm so thankful for friendships that are able to just pick back up and start where we left off.
I also got to catch up with some close friends in Texas, (Grace and Eneri) We got to spend some good time together and make new memories to look back on.
I'm so blessed by these girls in my life and how the Lord is really leading them.
Arriving back to Texas turned out to be a full last week home.
I was approached my last Sunday at church and asked if I was able to take some senior photos before leaving. I'm so thankful they asked me to take them because it ended up being such a fun photoshoot in one of my favorite parks in Texas.
I really enjoyed getting to do photography while being back home these last few months. Thank you to all who had their photos taken and supported me through those donations.
I also was blessed with being able to set up a meeting with our church's pastor.
I was able to share more of the heart of "YWAM" (Youth with a Mission) and more on what ministry looks like being with the "Firestarters" Ministry.
How God is really moving among the nations in Europe and we are seeing more and more of a hunger for discipleship in churches and universities. I'm so thankful for a church back in Texas that really supports missions and has a heart for the nations.
Finishing up my time in Texas, I then made my way to Orlando to attend "The Send" I've attached a video that better explains "The Send"
Being able to see firsthand what God is doing here in America has been incredible.
Over 75,000 believers gathered in Orlando believing for a shift to take place.
The whole one day event of The Send was to spark action within churches and christians.
We have come to a new area and a new generation of believers has begun to rise up.
Each hour of the send was so filled with God's presence. I was able to hear topics encouraging believers to start taking on places in the missions field that we can no longer ignore as Christians. Such as Adoption, Discipleship in High schools and neighboorhoods, and the hard to reach places in the nations.
I saw an outcome of 2,145 committing to reaching high schools
1,878 committing to reach universities, 4,134 committing to reaching their neighborhood, and 482 responded to the gospel. Along with countless healings that took place in the arena.
Again I was also surprised how God reconnected me with friends I haven't seen in years.
I was able meet with some friends from when I was in YWAM Herrnhut back in 2014.
It was so insane to catch up and hear about their lives since I saw them last.
The great commission is too big to accomplish on our own, God really is doing a new work in this next generation and I can't wait to be a part of it in years to come.
Prayer Requests
-Transition season, prayers that I can adjust quickly to being back in Germany.
-Prayers for housing when I get back to YWAM Herrnhut. I'm hoping I can move into an apartment with other girls. I'm currently trusting that the Lord will provide the timing,
-Peace and strength of mind as I am getting ready to start another discipleship school in March (Bible Core Course) It will be a time of lots of time management and spending many hours studying the bible for 4 months. Prayers for finances for this school to come in and prayers that I will be able to obtain the word of the lord in my head and my heart to better evangelize in Europe.
