Fall season in Germany
Hey friends, just a quick update on what I've been up to recently in Germany
Life in Herrnhut
has been going really well. I just recently finished up doing some "staff training" with a few other new staff members who have felt the lord leading them into full time missions in Germany here at "YWAM" Herrnhut. Its been so cool to hear stories about how God really lead us each to be apart of what he’s doing in Germany.
Some of the topics that we went over during staff training were
-Kingdom Culture
-Culture differences
-Finances and Fundraising
Learning how to grow in theses areas and understand more of God's heart for missions especially hearing from the base leadership themselves on these topics was really inspiring.
On the topic of kingdom culture. We went in depth unpacking verses in the bible
(Philippians 4:4 Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice!)
(Romans 12:9 Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good.)
We learned that it really begins with character that shifts your culture.
We went over how the bible goes beyond our own culture.
Understanding that we have a choice every day to choose what our values are.
That a “culture” is a way of life, it's values and beliefs that are accepted as normal. It's how we were raised and what we learned to value over time.
That "Kingdom Culture" starts with radical transformation in the heart.
That we are not the sin we once had but the values that we embrace.
That we can choose to act of a place of joy and love towards others. It doesn’t always mean that it will be easy and it don’t always mean that you agree with everyone but it means loving and caring for people the way that Jesus did regardless of how you feel.
I got to hear and learn more on the base vision and how its changed a little bit since I was here last. (five years ago) The vision and heart behind what we do in Herrnhut is something that I really love. As each of us are called to walk out the "great commission" we as "YWAM" Herrnhut believe to do this, we are to "Live Revival, Reach the Lost, and Transform Nations". I loved getting to hear more about this new mission statement and how much the leadership here is really seeking after God's heart.
Camping retreat
I was so excited to find out that right as I was joining on staff. The whole entire community was going on "staff retreat".
Camping in the Czech Republic we all had a time of rest and meaningful conversations fun games all together. I was great getting to know more of the staff that have already been here for some time.
It was also a great time for us as YWAM Herrnhut to come together in worship and prayer and realign ourselves with what God has for us this next fall season.
I loved hearing and seeing more of the heart for God that each of them really carry. It was a great time all together before the fall DTS (Discipleship Training Schools) started.
Firestarters!
In just a few weeks time I will be joining the "Firestarters" team on the road across Germany. I'm so excited as this will be my first time on tour with the ministry, and I cant wait to see all that God will do.
For those who don't know what "Firestarters" is..
The heart of Firestarters is to connect and unite those across Germany and Europe who are on fire for God and want to spark transformation in their city.
They are those who want to see revival in Germany.
Ways we do this are hosting nights of worship, hosting nights of discipleship training, and mostly helping the equip and encourage churches across Germany to not be afraid to step out and be the change they want to see in their community and their churches.
I recently got to spend this last weekend on retreat with the Firestarters team. We all had time to get together and share our vision for Germany and Europe. We shared with each other about what we feel God is calling each of us to, and how we can use those gifting and passions in this ministry. It was a great weekend to spend time with God in worship and prayer and hear what the Lord is speaking about this next year.
After finishing this weekend with the team I feel so much more brought up to speed with the ministry I've joined and the friends I will be working along side this fall season and the years to come.
I am so excited to be apart of all that God is speaking and revealing to us about 2019.
I'll be home for Christmas!
I have been blessed to purchase a plane ticket back to America for the holiday season. (also visa purposes)
I will officially be coming back home November 8th.
I am so looking forward to returning back to my home culture for a visit and hope to be able to meet up with many of you.

While being back home I would love to use this time to book some photoshoots / video shoots.
If anyone is looking to get some new family photos or even holiday portraits taken, or has an idea for a video that they have been dreaming of. I would love to set that up.
I have a passion and experience in photographing weddings, couple / engagement photos, family / portraits, senior photos, and business photography / videography.
It's something that I have recently realized how much I love do to, and I would be so pleased to be involved in making it happen!

Prayer Requests
-Prayers for the fall "Firestarters" tour. The team and myself will be traveling in two groups throughout Germany. Pray that God would really use us during this time and we will be able to really share God's heart towards others in these German cities.
-Prayers for my sister as she herself is leading an outreach team in Nepal for the first time. That God would guide them as they go about reaching in unreached.
-Prayers that I would continually learn to trust God especially in the area of finances. He has been teaching me so much on this topic lately.
