A new season.
What an adventure these last few weeks have been. I cant believe its already been a month since my last posting, So much has happened in such a short time.
Recap of my last few weeks in Paris
I’m so thankful for this journey that God has me on.
Since graduation I have been praying and seeking Gods word on more of what direction he is calling me, He has spoken very clearly to me to be apart of Ywam (Youth with a mission) in Germany. (for more details on this please check out my last blog posting)
I have since prayed about when to leave for Germany from France, and I felt the lord speak to leave Paris on July 15th - With that, I booked my bus ticket for that day.
The last few weeks in Paris I was able to help work in the media department of “YWAM Paris Connect”
I got to help make booklets for their up coming schools and summer events.
It was such a blessing to be able to help in such a needed area, although I have never made a printed book or done much with print design it was a fun challenge. All the hard work really paid off when I finally got to see a printed booklet in my hands.
God’s Plan
Little did I know that same weekend was such a perfect last weekend in Paris.
I could not have planned it any better. It’s amazing to see how God really orchestrated these plans, I had no idea all of these celebrations were taking place during that same weekend.
God allowed me to be apart of making some really fun last memories in Paris with my sister and my friends at the base.
Starting out with celebrating “Bastille Day” (France Independence day)
And finishing the weekend with watching France win the world cup!
Watching the fire works over the Eiffel Tower I felt God speak to me.
“I am celebrating you in this season”
I felt the lords comfort and peace over me as I was watching the fireworks that night.
I had been dealing with these last few weeks in Paris with mixed emotions of leaving a close family and community behind, one that I was able to be apart of over the last six months at YWAM Paris Connect.
With mixed emotions of being scared to leave what I knew, and step out in faith.
I had grown closer to the staff and leadership there especially working along side many of them in the last few weeks since the schools graduation day on June 20th.
It was a hard bittersweet feeling during my last week there especially. But all together I ended up growing really excited about heading back to Germany after so many years.
Excited about what all God had spoken to me about Germany, and excited to follow after God in obedience and step out in Faith, just since doing so I have felt so much closer in my walk with God..
Psalm 32:8
The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life.
I will advise you and watch over you.
Since being in Germany
I felt the lord give me the strategy of visiting three different YWAM bases across Germany for two weeks each.
-Nuremberg, Germany
-Berlin, Germany
-Herrnhut, Germany
During these two weeks I especially have been glad to get a closer insight as to what each base does day to day, and how each of the communities are, and see what type of ministries each base has going on.
So far I have just made it to my first stop along this adventure and I am currently in Nuremberg, Germany.
I have had some incredible opportunities here already and have been able to partner with their bible distribution project. The base here as around
We believe that one of the ways revival happens is when the gospel is spread, and in doing so the staff and volunteers here at YWAM nuremberg, go out into the city/neighborhoods every afternoon to give out bibles.
Our mission is that each home in Nuremberg would receive a bible and have the opportunity to partner with a local church.
It’s been amazing to be apart of during my two weeks here, I was able to help them go out into different neighborhoods in Nuremberg and leave bibles in mail boxes and even hand some out to those who were out for a walk.
Psalms 33:4 For the word of the Lord holds true,
and we can trust everything he does.

Some other things I was able to help with during my time here was with overall cleaning and preparing for the "wonderland cafe" to re-open after taking a summer pause. The YWAM base here in Nuremberg has been so blessed to find such an amazing space in the city to use as a coffee shop and art gallery space. I had always seen photos and things of the cafe space but its been so cool to be here in person. It really is such a great space to meet and pour out into the local community.
A joyous reunion
Since being back in Germany I actually have been able to spend time with some friends from when I was in YWAM (Youth with a mission) in the past.
Many of them I went to Dubai and India with on outreach in 2013 and most of them I haven’t really seen since then.
We got to spend time with each other around the city and explore all together.
The crazy thing about it, is that we didn’t plan to be here in Nuremberg at the same time. It was again something that God really orchestrated. I could not have planned it any perfectly.
It was so amazing to hear all that God has been doing in each of their lives. Some of them are working jobs or in school around Europe and some of them are still with YWAM (Youth with a mission)
Prayer Requests
I have been in a season of transition and with that comes prayer
Since graduating from the last DTS (discipleship training school) I have been really stepping out and trusting God each day. Trusting that He will guide my steps in coming back to Germany and where He will lead me to settle.
-Please pray that God would speak clarity over me and where He would have me be on staff with Youth with a mission. That I would be able to find another close community that is just as close to me as those I left back in Paris. That I would have a peace about where the Lord is calling me to be long term.
-Pray that God would release new vision to me for Germany as He has already expanded my heart for the country. I'm excited to see the ways that the lord will use me in following after his will.
-Prayer for financial support, that others will feel lead to partner with what God has called me to. Being apart of seeing God's name known in the lives of Europeans and especially in sparking revival Germany.
